We're not sure what world travel this person is referring to. Our founder visited China on a business-only trip a few weeks ago, and the visit to Niagara Falls with his family was a rare break from work, a few hours’ drive from his house.

Got a new email today. Number 124.

Remember, there aren't any actual working models that fully function and charge even though the models apear to be completely functional we're told that the reason they're not out yet is they aren't able to machine the specs yet so it's just a case with magnets and lights. Below is the response I recieved from Kate (on behalf of Seymore himself) explaining how hard Seymore is working (as testified by his inconsiderate calls to employees at all hours) and that his trip to Niagara was just a quick family trip while China was ALL BUSINESS, therefore he's not traveling on the crowd source funding. Although, if this is his job then logically crowd sourcing is paying his check.

Unless there is some functioning product they are physically selling then "investors" are funding his Business trips as well as family Vacations. And for all the education his team does on "how crowd funding works" in their complaint rebuttles, I must wonder how long can a company use that excuse? Indefinitely? By the time they're made will they be obsolete?

Or will they always be chasing that "higher quality" and never be able to complete it as they are always chasing something new? Again, they're selling the ideas of a product not the product itself. And the specs and machining problems really only make sense if there was a working prototype... is there?

I'm not sure you know this but Niagara Falls is just a few hours from Seymour's house and he wanted to take a day trip there with his family.

He works 7 days a week and at a minimum 12 hours a day. I know this because he wants to call me and have video meetings at times when most people aren't working! So this doesn't leave a lot of time for family time, which--even though he's fully committed to getting you your products-- is extremely important as well. I sincerely hope you understand.

Everyone here at MAGFAST is working around the clock to make this project happen but no one works harder and more hours than Seymour. (He didn't ask me to say all of this, I'm speaking from my heart here as a loyal member of his team).If I may, I'd like to make a kind request for you to please remove your review from Pissed Consumer. These reviews are very damaging to a small company like us. Even if you would prefer not to remove your review I still would like to give you a full refund.

I fully realized that this was a pre-order deal but honestly believed they at least had functioning prototypes. After 6 months and hundreds of email "updates" I believe they truly sold me snake oil (well, just the promise of snake oil, or really just the bottle since there's nothing functional inside yet).

And yet, I'm thrilled to see pictures of Seymore at Niagara Falls (relevant because electricity comes from falling water) smiling as he gets soaked. Ican't help but feel all the updates and "niceties" are the actual product.

It's like seeing someone who has made an honest living writing fictional updates while they travel. Honestly, it must be hard work.
